About
My name is Jen Hill. I am an math professor at a community college outside of Chicago. I have a doctorate in education, a master’s degree in pure mathematics, and a bachelor’s degree in both mathematics and economics.
I began my academic journey at a community college, where I also tutored math classes and developed a passion for teaching. I decided that was all I ever wanted to do. After 15 years of teaching, I am still wildly passionate about it.
My goal in creating this website is to have a “one-stop shop” for students to get all the support they need for their math classes.
I have poured in hours of time and love into making this resource, which now boasts over 1,000 videos and notes for students. I have big goals with this website, but limited time and resources to fulfill everything.
When I’m not working on this website (rare), I like to play with motorcycles with my husband, travel, take walks with my dog, or enjoy time with friends over laughter and a good meal.
